On June 13th, 2023, at approximately 0945 hours, the Bluffton Police Department received a complaint of Breaking and Entering that occurred at the Bluffton Swimming Pool sometime after the close of business on June 12th, 2023. The unknown suspect(s) took the following items: keys to the cash register, HP laptop with power cord estimated value $500.00, photographic optical equipment value at $143.00, and a safe containing money and checks in the amount of $930.00.
Anyone providing information that would lead to the arrest of those involved in this crime, may receive up to $500.00 as a cash reward from the Village of Bluffton.

Between 5/11/2023 and 5/13/2023 a home in the 400 block of N. Cory St. was burglarized. It is unknown how the suspect(s) entered the home. Stolen from the residence were three Samsung 65″ TVs, an Apple Macbook, an HP gaming laptop, an HP gaming computer monitor, and cash.

INFORMATION / CRIMINAL ACTIVITY: The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a forced residential burglary which occurred on Thursday March 9, 2023 in the Hillcrest-Siferd Acres subdivision, Jacob Dr.-Siferd Blvd, Lakeland Dr., Hancock Cr. 140 area. Several items were stolen, loaded into or onto a motor vehicle and fled from the residence.

Between January 10 and January 25, 2023 a house in the 200 block of Shinkle St. was burglarized.  It is unknown how entry was gained into the residence.  Items stolen from the residence include 4 firearms, misc. silver coins, Porter Cable router, Dewalt cordless drill, Porter Cable belt sander, red extension ladder, floor jack, circular saw, Black and Decker cordless circular saw, John Deer mower, Eco snow blower, and a cordless hedge trimmer. 

Between January 12 and January 13, 2023 a residence in the 400 block of Baldwin Ave. was burglarized.  It is unknown how entry was made into the residence.  Items stolen include a Dewalt drill, flashlight, sawzall, skillsaw, corded grinder and finish nail gun. 

A person matching the same description as below entered an unlocked garage in the 1200 block of Hurd Ave. between 0312 and 0322 hrs on January 13, 2023 and stole money from an unlocked vehicle parked inside the garage.
