On Tuesday 04/27/2010 at 11:19 p.m. a 15 year old girl was walking in the 100 block of E. Wallace St. when she was grabbed by an unknown male. The girl began to scream and fight with the suspect, striking him several times. While she struggled with her attacker, a passing motorist drove by and yelled at the male attacker. The attacker then fled northbound on foot. The victim sustained only minor bruising during the incident. The suspect was described as 6’0” tall with a medium / muscular build. He was wearing a black coat, black pants and dark green gloves. The suspect had a hood pulled up over his head and the victim was unable to see her assailant’s face. Investigators are seeking the identity of the suspect and the passing motorist.
